Feeling unwell

  • 我不舒服。— wǒ bù shū fu. — I do not feel well.
  • 我需要医生。— wǒ xū yào yī shēng. — I need a doctor.
  • 药店在哪里?— yào diàn zài nǎ lǐ? — Where is the pharmacy?
  • 医院在哪里?— yī yuàn zài nǎ lǐ? — Where is the hospital?

Lost items

Use 我的……不见了 — wǒ de... bù jiàn le — My ... is missing.

  • 我的护照不见了。— wǒ de hù zhào bù jiàn le. — My passport is missing.
  • 我的手机不见了。— wǒ de shǒu jī bù jiàn le. — My phone is missing.
  • 我的包不见了。— wǒ de bāo bù jiàn le. — My bag is missing.

Asking for urgent help

  • 请帮我。— qǐng bāng wǒ. — Please help me.
  • 很急。— hěn jí. — It is urgent.
  • 请报警。— qǐng bào jǐng. — Please call the police.
  • 我需要找警察。— wǒ xū yào zhǎo jǐng chá. — I need to find the police.
  • 派出所在哪里?— pài chū suǒ zài nǎ lǐ? — Where is the local police station?
  • 我迷路了。— wǒ mí lù le. — I am lost.
  • 我需要翻译。— wǒ xū yào fān yì. — I need an interpreter.

Weather words

  • 太冷了 / 太热了 — tài lěng le / tài rè le — It is too cold / hot.
  • 下雨 — xià yǔ — Raining.
  • 下雪 — xià xuě — Snowing.

Short phrases are a backup, not the whole plan. For serious situations, use local services and ask a nearby person or hotel staff member to help you communicate.
