This policy explains how China Before You Go handles information when you browse the site, leave a comment, generate a Zi Wei Dou Shu chart, or purchase a digital product or Personal Life Script Report.
Information We Use
The free chart tool uses the birth date, local birth time, traditional chart rule, and birthplace details you enter to generate a chart. If you purchase a report, we also store your delivery email, a private chart snapshot, an internal order reference, payment status, delivery status, and the completed report.
Payment Information
Payment providers process card, wallet, and billing details on their own systems. We do not store your full card number or security code. We retain only the payment reference and status needed to confirm the order, deliver the report, respond to support requests, and maintain business records.
AI-Assisted Reports
Personal Life Script Reports are AI-assisted cultural interpretations. The chart snapshot needed to prepare the report is sent to our AI provider. We do not include your email address, payment reference, or customer name in the report prompt.
Email Delivery
We use an email delivery provider to send order confirmations, purchased files, and report emails. Your delivery email is used for fulfillment and support related to the order. It is not added to a marketing list unless you separately choose to subscribe.
Article Comments
You can leave a question or comment without creating an account. We store your display name, comment, article reference, moderation status, and optional email address. Your display name and approved comment may appear publicly. Comment text may be checked automatically by our moderation provider and held for manual review when needed. We do not send your optional email address to the moderation provider. Your email address is not published and is not added to a marketing list unless you separately choose to subscribe.
Retention
Unpaid draft orders are scheduled for deletion after 24 hours. The delivery email, chart snapshot, report text, and technical error details associated with paid orders are scheduled for deletion or redaction after 90 days. We may retain limited transaction records as needed for payment reconciliation, refunds, support, and applicable recordkeeping obligations.
Your Choices
You can use the free chart tool without purchasing a report. For access, correction, or deletion questions, contact chiyaoyaoya@gmail.com. Deletion requests may not remove records we are legally required to keep.
